Administration of Sochi presents program for agribusiness development

The administration of Sochi presented today the program for the development of agriculture of Sochi until 2014, Yuga.ru reports.

The project offers a solution to the problem of food security by means of integration development of agricultural production, organization of the logistics, which will combine wholesale and food markets, as well as development of the commodity and transportation center.

At the moment, Sochi produces 25% needed vegetables, 80% fish and 35% meat. The lack of food is compensated by supplies from the Krasnodar region, other regions of Russia and imported products.
