Iran views North-South corridor as national project

Director of the special economic zone Serakhs, Mohammed Mehdi Moravvedzh-ash-Sharie, said at a meeting of the Trade, Industry and Mining Chamber on export issues that economic life in the East is closely connected to the North-South corridor, Iran News reports.


The director underlined that transit shipments using the corridor are a national project which will highly benefit the country.


Morravvedzh-ash-Sharie pointed out the construction of the railway which will connect Chabahar port with Serakhs. He said that the project will improve transit through Iran.
