China is ready to discuss sanctions against Iran but insists that they
should focus on restraining Tehran's nuclear program, ITAR-TASS
reports, EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton after negotiations
with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
The issue discussed was not the imposition of sanctions, but what kind
of sanctions there should be, she said.
