Ziyad Sabsabi, the Chechen president’s representative for relations with the Middle East, has met with potential investors, Yuga.ru reports.
He had a meeting in Abu Dhabi with the president of “Royal Group”, Sheikh Tahtun . The sheikh said that his company plans to invest in housing construction in Chechnya’s Staropromyslovsky District.
Sabsabi visited Jordan where he met the head of the Jordanian king’s protocol service, Sheikh Yakhya al-Majali. The Jordanian official said that they had named a street and a square in Amman after the first Chechen President Ahmat Haji Kadyrov and the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
A park in Grozny was named after the Jordan King Hussein Bin Talal and a street named after King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein. The mayor’s office in Grozny and the Jordan authorities have a protocol on partner relations between the two capital cities.
