A blast in Dagestan this morning did not affect the schedule of railway traffic between Azerbaijan and Russia, head of the press-service of the Azerbaijani Railways Company Nadir Azmamedov said.
He said that the only train from Baku is currently on its way to Tyumen and has not reached the Russian border yet.
The Moscow-Baku train will arrive this evening. Azmamedov said that no limitations were introduced in Russia.
The blast happened under a freight train in Dagestan at 07.20 (Moscow time), spokesman of the interior transport department said. There were no injuries.
A new railway schedule between Russia and Azerbaijan will be introduced on March 26.
The numerous railway blasts resulted in the Russian Railways Company limiting passenger traffic in Dagestan and Chechnya from 18.00 to 06.00. The limitations were introduced on February 9 to secure the passengers.
