Ukraine intends to export electricity to Turkey

Ukraine is interested in exporting electricity to Turkey, said Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on Monday in Istanbul, RIA Novosti reports.

Ukrainian Prime Minister added that Erdogan is interested in the proposal and instructed the Ministry of Energy of Turkey to study it in detail.

Azarov stressed that Ukraine intends to build third and fourth units at Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant, which will enable Ukraine with better chances to enter the Turkish energy market.
