The General Director of the National Iranian Oil Company for Distribution, Farid Amery said that taking in consideration targeted subsidies, the economy in the field of consumption of petroleum products amounted to 1.8 billion dollars and in the future Iran will become a reliable exporter of gasoline, Iran.ru reports, citing Iriba News.
According to Amery, America in the period from December 19, 2010 to March 14, 2011 Iran uded an average of 61 million liters of gasoline per day, which is 7.2 million liters less compared with the same period last year.
In addition, Iran has reduced consumption of diesel fuel and heating oil.
