Experts have discovered more than 30 parts of the Dzugba-Sochi highway in the Krasnodar region with an active soil slip, RIA Novosti reports.
The attention is paid to this road because in early February near Tuapse town mudslide damaged 50 meters of road cover. This part of the road is to be reconstructed by April 2011.
The activity of soil slip is caused by unfavorable weather, and the geologic and hydrologic conditions.
Moreover, the intensity of daily traffic is increasing year by year. All these factors can cause mudslides.
