The CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel, Hashem Yeke-Zare, said that the third automobile center created in Iran should be oriented towards exports, Iran News reports.
According to Yeke-Zare, the decision of the Minister of Industry and Mines to establish a third automobile center seems very reasonable and fully complies with the conditions that prevailed in Iranian and the global automobile industry.
Yeke-Zare stressed that the main task of the third center is the manufacturing of entirely domestically-produced cars, based on the most modern technology, which will allow Iranian automakers to take a strong position on world markets.
The project should actively involve the private sector.
