Mineralnye Vody have opened a complex producing mineral water and drinks after modernization.
Reconstruction of production was realized by the Stary Istochnik Water Company, supported by the regional government and the German financial holding UniCredit. 220 million rubles were invested, allowing the complex to receive advanced equipment for drink production from the German company KHS, making production fully automatic.
Director General of Stary Istochnik Water Company Yaroslav Strugovshik said that the equipment at the complex is unique for the Caucasus. Moreover, it is the first regional company that received support from a foreign bank.
Modernization allowed production of mineral water and lemonade to increase from 70 million bottles annually to 200 millions.
The Stary Istochnik Water Company is one of the leading manufacturers of non-alcohol drinks. It produces products under such brands as Shippi, Lyubimy Aromat, Stary Istochnik, Yessentuki, Bagutskaya-26, Slavyanovskaya, available in Stavropol Territory and 69 other regions. Products are also exported to the USA, Estonia, Lithuania, Turkmenistan, Moldavia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. The company made 1 billion rubles profit in 2010, selling over 67.896 million bottles, exceeding the indicator in 2009 by almost 50%. The company plans to reach a profit of 1.5 billion rubles in 2011 with the launch of the new production line.
