Georgia counts on the building up of energy infrastructure and energy export, the minister of energy and natural resources of Georgia Alexander Hetaguri said on Wednesday, Trend reports.
“If we have no capacity to export energy, there is no sense in its production. We want to export and gain profit from energy production,” he stated.
According to the minister, the construction of power transmission lines to Turkey has already begun.
Georgia has plans to export energy to other countries too. Through Turkey it will have the ability to export energy to EU countries .
