The BP oil company will seek to realize a deal with Rosneft, despite a temporary ban on the completion of the transaction imposed by arbitration in Stockholm, a press release by BP says, RIA Novosti reports.
"The Arbitration Tribunal decided to uphold a temporary ban on the completion of the proposed transaction between BP and Rosneft, which includes the exploration of mineral resources in the Arctic and the exchange of shares," the statement reads.
BP now plans to ask for clarifications on whether the exchange of shares can be held separately from other parameters of the agreement.
