Georgian export rate increases by 54%


In the first quarter of 2010 export from Georgia  increased by 54% in comparison with the first quarter of 2009 and by 3% in comparison with 2008, reports Business Georgia with reference to  information spread by Georgian authorities.

As of import rate, in the first quarter of 2010 it has increased be 6% in comparison with 2009 and decreased by 27 %, compared with 2008.

In the first quarter of 2010, the trade deficit, compared with 2009 decreased by 8.7%, and compared with 2008 by 37%.
