Georgia provides $104 million for medical insurance

Georgia spends $104 million on medical insurance for low-income families, Minister for Labor, Healthcare and Social Protection Andria Urushadze said, Business Georgia reports.


He said that implementation of the state insurance system will allow over 1 million people to receive medical aid, i.e. 20% of the population.


The minister added that 450,000 more people received corporate or individual insurance cards.
