Moscow's Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports are planning to merge into a single complex, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Monday, RIA Novosti reports.
The state plans to privatize a single complex later, which will be created on the basis of the metropolitan airports Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo, the prime minister said.
"I will immediately note: the state has no purpose to sit on those assets forever. This step aims at creating a single complex, equip it and then put it on the market and then privatize it, based on the market price," Putin said.
