The Ministry of oil and gas of Kazakhstan decided to modernize three oil refineries and begin production of Euro-5 fuel, Trend reports.
“The standards of fuel production are changing. If we shift to Euro-3 first and then to Euro-4, we will lose time and money,“ the head of the ministry stated.
According to him, Kazakhstan falls behind Russia and Belarus in the sphere of fuel standards.
The state program on modernization of three oil refineries was developed in 2009.
