The deadline for applications for participation in investment projects in the free tourist zone of Anaklia has been extended. Georgian Minister of Economy Vera Kobalia said the new deadline date has not yet been specified, Business Georgia reports.
The deadline for applications was originally designated as January 30, which was extended until April 1, after which it was prolonged again.
The free tourist zone of Anaklia has already been visited by several groups of investors. According to the Georgian government, unprecedented conditions have been created on the coast with the best maritime climate for the construction of hotels. The investor will receive the land, hotel projects and all communications as a gift from the state. At the same time, they will be exonerated from tax on income and property for 15 years. Plots of land are located along the boulevard designed by a Spanish architect.
