Turkish Airlines, national air company, has ordered 15 new Boeing 737NGs, APA-Economics reports.
Turkey ordered 10 737-800s and 5 737-900ERs worth a total of $1.2 billion. They will be equipped with the Boeing Sky Interior.
Boeing has 305 orders for 737-900ERs from 14 clients. 737-900ER saves 6% of fuel, compared with competitive models. The new engines and aerodynamics allow 737NGs to reduce fuel consumption by 2%.
