Armenia increased production of brandy in January-February 2011 by 3.1% amounting to 1755.1 thousand litres, News-Armenia reports, referring to the National Statistical Service of the Republic.
In addition, in January and February the country produced 22.8% less vodka (514 thousand litres) compared to the same period in 2010.
During the reported period the wine production was decreased by 21.3% and amounted to 448.9 thousand litres. The production of beer amounted to 858 thousand litres against 956.9 thousand litres for the same period in 2010.
