Rescue teams have reached the civilian helicopter which crashed near Orhangazi, Bursa, TRT reports.
The pilot was seen to have lost his life. The plane crashed at about 10 40 hours near the village of Dutluca in Orhangazi in a mountainous area.
Telephone connection was set up with one of the three people onboard the helicopter. The Gendarmerie, civil defense and health teams rushed to the scene of accident in line with the information that was given.
Following a strenuous climb, the teams reached the area. The pilot of the helicopter Ahmet Deniz died in the crash and one person injured was whisked to hospital by a copter. The teams are searching for the third missing person.
