Iran to construct petrochemical complex in cooperation with Indonesia

Director of the Iranian National Petrochemical Company Ahmad Reza Khedarni said that they had reached an agreement with Indonesia’s Pursi company. They will construct a petrochemical complex at the special economic energy zone of Pars, Iran News reports.


The complex will produce 1.15 million tons of carbamide and ammonia annually.


Construction of the complex will take 4 years. Raw materials for production will come from South Pars.
