Iran expresses readiness for talks on nuclear program without pre-conditions

Iran is ready to discuss the nuclear program without any pre-conditions, Iranian representative to the UN Mohammad Hazai said, ISNA report.

Disarmament and non-proliferation of nuclear arms are the main topics, Trend reports.

Iran believes that the best way to guarantee non-proliferation is fulfillment of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty by every single country, the official said.

Iran and six mediators the “Six” (five UN SC members and Germany) held talks in Geneva in December 2010, after a 14-month break. The next round of talks was held in Istanbul in January 2011.
