SOCAR pumps 150 million tons of oil via BTC

In March, the Turkish port of Ceyhan exported 3.011 million tons of Azeri Light oil to the world market, 1news.az reports referring to the information of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

Of this amount, 2,166,180 tons is profit oil, the proceeds of which went to the State Oil Fund (SOFAR).
 
The total quarterly shipment of Azeri oil from Ceyhan amounted to 8.2 million tons.
 
All in all, since the commissioning of the Main Export Pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) on 1 April 2011, 150.2 million tons of Azerbaijani oil have been exported via the port of Ceyhan.
