The majority of 74 Georgian MPs approved changes to the state budget in 2011, Georgia Online reports.
In accordance with the approved bill, the income of the current state budget will be increased by 348.8 million lari, 230.2 million of which are allocated for spending and the rest for the treasury.
The funds will finance the following priority areas: the allocation of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Security will be increased by 86 096 800 GEL; 55 200.0 thousand GEL to increase the minimum pension stipend from September 1, 2011; 30 000.0 thousand GEL to avoid deficits in social and health programs. 896 800 GEL will be allocated for regional programs of tuberculosis -
