SOCAR to sell Nigerian oil

The company SOCAR Trading (daughter company of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has signed an agreement with the Nigerian company NNPC on selling the company's oil on world markets, Trend reports, with reference to information circulated by SOCAR on Friday.

Nigerian state company NNPC has chosen SOCAR Trading to sell 30 thousand barrels of its oil per day. The contract was signed for one year.


The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan produced 7.28 million tons of oil and more than seven billion cubic meters of gas in 2010. SOCAR Trading carries out its oil trade in various regions of the world.
