Residents of Georgian capital exempted from land tax


Tbilisi residents will no longer pay tax on land. The decision was taken today at the meeting of the City council . Change applies to those individuals who own plots of land attached to the multi-family homes, co-owned apartment buildings and garages, Business Georgia reports.

Until today, the land tax was paid by those residents of the capital who owned more than 600 square meters of housing and more than 19 square meters of property under garages.
