Georgia to spend over $22 million on agriculture

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili believes that the project on supporting villages, starting in April, is important, Business Georgia reports.

The press-officer of the presidential administration, Manana Mandzhgaladze, said that $22.5 million will be spent on supporting villages. She did not clarify the problems the sum will target.

Mandzhgaladze said that the finances will be managed by the population rather than local autonomies.
