The Armenian state debt is expected to stabilize at 40% of GDP in 2013, IMF representative to Armenia Guillermo Tolos said, News Armenia reports.
Armenian state debt reached 39.4% of GDP in 2010. Armenia will receive $392 million of financing until June 2013. The IMF financing program will allow Armenia to overcome medium-term challenges and rates of economic restoration and reduce poverty.
The official said that Armenia received most loans on beneficial conditions.
Armenian state debt reached 1379.3 billion drams, according to information on December 30, 2010. Internal debt amounted to 180.3 billion drams, foreign debt - $3.299 billion.
Analyses indicate that state debt increased by 4.8% (or 108.5 billion drams), compared with indicators on December 30, 2009.
