Iranian car plant “Iran Khodro” has concluded development of a new vehicle named Dena.
Iranian Minister of Industry Ali Akbar Mehrabian said that Dena meets high security standards. Dena will replace Samand by the end of this year, PressTV reports.
Head of “Iran Khodro” Javad Najmeddin said that Iran exports cars to 30 states. It exported 40,000 cars in 2010. Iranian cars are available in Russia, Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Egypt.
The motor of Dena has 113 horse power with fuel consumption of 7.2 liters per 100 km. Denais only manufactured with manual transmission.
