Iran studies prospects for oil industry development

The national congress "Development prospects of the oil industry until 2025” was opened today on the third day of the 16th International Exhibition of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals. The congress is attended by the chairman of the Milli Majlis, Ali Larijani, Oil Minister Seyed Masoud Mir-Kazemi, heads of the Oil Ministry  and the deputies of the Milli Majlis, Iran News reports.

The main topics of the congress are the legal basis for oil and gas development policy, and for active oil and gas geological exploration in order to further increase the production capacity to ensure the socio-economic development and strengthen its security, as well as new ways of attracting investments in oil and gas industry.
