Russia, Armenia to increase trade turnover up to $ 1 billion

Trade turnover between Armenia and Russia is expected to reach $ 1 billion in 2011 against the current $870 million,  the Minister of Economy of Armenia Tigran Davtyan said on Monday, ARKA reports.

He said an increase in turnover will largely contribute to the development of cooperation between regions of the two countries. He noted that the Russian regions have large capacities enough for the Armenian regions to exploit their potential.

At the same time, the minister said, the Armenian regions have opportunities, goods and investment projects that might interest their Russian partners.
