Georgia will build a farm which meets modern European standards in Abash (Samegrelo Region, Western Georgia) by late 2013. The company SGI – Sustainable Development of Investments - will purchase 619,7767 hectares of municipal land for the issue, Business Georgia reports.
1 hectare costs 800 lari.
According to a deal signed in Sakrebulo, the company will plant corn and other grain cultures by December 31, 2013. It will build a husbandry farm worth $4 million.
Investments will be made stage-by-stage. 800,000 lari will be invested in 2011, 1.7 million lari in 2012 and 1.5 million lari in 2013.
The land the company purchased is worth 495,821,036 lari. The company needs to pay the sum by September 1, 2011.
