Russian major energy company Inter RAO UES of Russia explains the agreement signed by the Georgian party. The agreement concerns the chain of power plants Khram 1 and Khram 2. Georgia will get $104 million for them. Inter RAO is ready to purchase 100% of power plants, however, privatization hasn’t been started yet, Business Georgia reports.
The company has nothing in common with political relations between Georgia and Russia. The cooperation is very profitable for Georgia. The Russian company will built three new power plants and invest in the project $193 million.
