A mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will carry out an inspection of the Armenian nuclear power plant in May, PanARMENIAN reports.
“This monitoring is a regular measure which has nothing to do with Azerbaijan’s request for a detailed examination of the plant,” Armenian Deputy Energy Minister Areg Galstyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
“The IAEA mission will check the work of the operating power generating unit and examine security at the site,” he said. “This procedure is regularly held at all nuclear plants.”
