Georgia expects Kazakh investments

Georgian Minister of Economy Vera Kobalia expects Kazakh business to invest in Georgia, Business Georgia reports.

Kazakhstan has reduced investments in Georgia in the last half year. Huge sums were registered in 2007. The reason for the reduction in investment is the global economic recession and the war in 2008. The economic rate dropped by 3.9% in 2009. GDP improved in 2010 and reached 6.5%. Investors started returning. Georgia offers investment opportunities in transport, energy and tourism, Kobalia said.
