SOCAR (State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic) has launched a new borehole at the Neftyanye Kamni field, Trend reports.
The borehole was drilled at the platform 2521, it has an annual debit of 10 tons of oil at an interval with 1365-1350. A total of 12 boreholes will be drilled at the platform.
SOCAR said that remaining oil and gas deposits at Neftyanye Kamni have been developed since 1949. They exceed 182 tons of oil. Geological deposits are equal to 365 million tons. The field will complete development in 2035.
