Flight ticket prices rise over events in Arab states

One of the reasons for rising prices for flight tickets to Turkey is the redirection of tourists due to events in the Arab states, the head of the press service of Azerbaijani Airlines, Magerram Safarli, said on Friday, Trend reports.

The increased prices for season flights to Antalya and Bodrum are due to the updating of the air fleet. Fuel prices in Turkey rose as well. The price was around $450-470 per ton in 2010, this year it reached $1000.

AZAL said earlier that the air company will start operating seasonal flights Baku-Antalya and Baku-Bodrum in late May or early June. The starting prices will be 535 and 530 manats respectively.
