Iran denies buying planes from Russia

Iran denied reports about buying passenger planes from Russia, Trend cites Iranian media.

An Iranian Civil Aviation Organization official in charge of flight standards, Hossein Habibi Ahzoun, dismissed reports on buying Tu-204 passenger aircrafts from Russia.

Some news agencies have reported recently that, according to the vice president of Russia's United Aircraft Corporation, Alexander Tulyakov, Iranian airlines were going to purchase 20 jets from Russia.
