The parliament of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic has passed a law devoted to governmental encouragement of investment.
The aim of the law is to encourage investment, establish a stable economy in the region and support and protect investors. According to the law, the republican authorities are to secure investors' rights and grant tax subsidies to them.
The republican government's press service said that these measures will improve the economic situation in Karachay-Cherkessia.
