According to a joint statement by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Lithuania, the two countries intend to enhance their economic ties.
The statement was made during a press conference held immediately after the Azerbaijani President met his Lithuanian counterpart, Dalya Gribauskayte.
"We had a very important conversation. We dicussed issues of bilateral relations, regional and global affairs, and economic cooperation between our countries," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.
