Exchange trade of oil products banned in Russia

The Russian authorities have stopped the exchange trade of oil products of affiliated structures to stabilize internal market prices, Vice-Premier Igor Sechin told the presidium of the Russian government, RIA Novosti reports.


Sechin said that trading needs to be realized through independent networks. Gas prices were stabilized through higher customs fees.


The vice-premier added that new mechanisms will be introduced if necessary.
