Armenian delegation visits investment forum in UAE

An Armenian delegation, headed by Vice-Premier Armen Gevorkyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration, is on a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates, where it will attend the annual investment forum, News Armenia reports.


The delegation plans to invite investment, present Armenian products in the Arab world, discuss the realization of mutually beneficial programs and find new cooperation trends. The delegation will participate in round-table discussions for trade and investment opportunities of the UAE and the Gulf, the economic development of the region, the Chinese economy, direct foreign investments, prospects of developing free zones and development of investment strategies.


The Armenian Development Agency and the Fund for National Competitive Ability will present projects realized in Armenia.


Gevorkyan will meet authorities of the UAE.


The delegation includes officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Economy, the Armenian Development Agency, the Fund for National Competitive Ability and businessmen.
