Iran to build new railroad to Azerbaijan

Iran intends to build a new railroad to Azerbaijan, Iran News reports. The Kazvin-Enzeli-Astara railroad will connect Iran with Azerbaijan.

Talks with foreign partners have already started. According to the acting minister of transport of Iran, Mr. Nikzad, the problem of finance will be solved by the partial privatization of the sector.
