In Iran a trial run of the first reactor in the Bushehr nuclear power station was made.
Russian Atomstroiexport stated that the reactor is light loaded, which enables checking of security systems.
Earlier Vestnik Kavkaza reported that the station connection to energy net would happen two months later. The Bushehr nuclear power station will produce 1000 MVt of electricity annually.
The building of the station is being implemented within the agreement signed by Tehran and Russia in 1995.
The price of the project is $1 billion.
The US and some other countries consider the Buschehr nuclear power station as a part of development of nuclear armament by Iran. Tehran denies it.
