Tourist flow to Georgia grows by 43%

In January-April 2011 Georgia was visited by 674 409 guests, which is by 43% more than in the same period in 2010, Business Georgia reports.

According to the ministry of economy and stable development, during first 2011 four months 239 489 visitors from European countries went to Georgia (it is 35.5% of all visitors).

From the USA 6 493 people visited Georgia, from Asian countries – 16 237 people, from Africa – 427 people.

The major part of visitors is from the CIS countries, especially from Azerbaijan.
