Georgia expects Korea to invest billions

The Korean company IDA Korea is planning to invest billions in Georgia for the construction of an airport at Kopitnari and a refinery at the Supsa oil terminal, Business Georgia reports.

IDA Korea has not yet confirmed the information.

The Georgian Energy Ministry denied information about serious negotiations with companies interested in building a refinery. The Deputy Energy Minister, in an interview with Kommersant, confirmed only that many companies, including American and Italian companies, are interested in the project.
