Russian economy to recover by 2012 - Putin

The Russian economy will reach the pre-depression level of development by the end of 2011 - the beginning of 2012, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Piutin said today while attending a meeting of the government devoted to developing the federal budget, RIA Novosti reports.

"There is some evidence that by the end of 2011 - the beginning of 2012 our economy will reach the pre-depression level," Putin said.
