Baku has opened a Azerbaijani-Turkish business forum for information
and telecommunication technologies, Trend reports.
Azerbaijani Deputy Minister for Communication and Information
Technologies Iltimas Mamedov said that the meeting will improve ties
in the sphere and open new prospects for cooperation.
Turkey has about 40 companies in the information and communication
sphere. Azerbaijan will be represented by 30 companies at the forum.
Mamedov said that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree
on the organization of electronic services by state structures. This
will open new opportunities for cooperation in the sphere.
