Talks between Azerbaijan and Turkey on gas issues have begun in Istanbul, 1news.az reports, referring to the information of the Turkish pipeline company BOTAS. The talks will become a preparation for signing a gas deal.
The parties are expected to determine the volume of gas to be delivered to domestic markets in Turkey within the framework of the development of the Second Phase of the Shah-Deniz field, as well as the pricing formula for Azerbaijani gas to Turkey and transit tariffs for the transportation of Azerbaijani gas through Turkey to other destinations.
