Iran to release bonds for construction of new power plant

Iran is planning to release bonds worth over $2.2 billion to finance
the construction of power plants and increase electricity output,
Iranian Energy Minister Majid Namju said on Sunday, Iran News reports.


Iran invited over $1.1 billion of investments to build 3 new power
plants. The country may turn into an electricity exporter, Iran is
integrated into electricity networks of 7 neighbor states, including
Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan and
Turkmenistan.
